VOW RENEWAL

A vow renewal ceremony is so special.  It's a wonderful occasion,  where two people have really grown together over a period of time and knowing that they intend to continue their life journey until such time as "death do us part", they re-affirm their love and commitment to each other.

There are very few couples who haven't experienced rocky paths during their time together, but a vow renewal affirms that as a result of having had the courage to meet the challenges, their love is stronger than ever before. Their level of mutual respect and understanding is deeper and their commitment to move forward in unity is clear and stated for friends and family to witness.

A vow renewal ceremony gives a couple the opportunity to reflect on what they truly mean to each other and create vows based on the experience of being together over time - of having got to know each other in all the different ways that exist once we commit to a long term relationship, and which usually includes "warts and all".   It is a moving and profound declaration.  If a wedding of the heart is the anchor, then a vow renewal is the ocean floor in which the anchor wedges.
