HOUSE BLESSING
No matter what your house looks like, it's your home and you want it to feel warm, welcoming and secure. However,
often when people first move to their new home, they experience a sense of unease and discomfort.

This is in part the whole moving process and the need to get settled - to put your own stamp on it. But if
it continues, it could be something else. For example, if the previous owners didn't want to leave, a sense of them could still
be there or if there were a lot or arguments in the house, the negativity seems to linger.
Sometimes it can just be a room that doesn't feel right. This might be helped by a Feng Shui consultant who
can recommend the best place for furniture and objects so that the "chi" (energy) flows correctly.
However, it could be that a short Interfaith ceremony to cleanse the house and ask for the blessings of comfort
and contentment would be highly beneficial. Just recently, I blessed a house and in particular the bedroom of the son,
who had never felt comfortable since moving there.
When I called a week or so later to find out how they were now, not only were they feeling more settled but the son was
sleeping like a log!
You could invite your friends to join the house blessing ceremony and then carry on with a traditional house warming
party.
